The event aims to let global participants experience the innovation and charm of China’s automotive industry up close.

Who can join? Is it safe for women to travel alone?

  • Target participants: NEV enthusiasts, automotive professionals, and cross-border travel lovers, regardless of nationality or gender.
  • Safety: The event is supported by bilingual guides, driving instructors, and logistics staff. Accommodation is arranged in standard hotels, and all activities are group-based. Female participants can join with confidence.

What are the physical requirements?

  • Participants should be in good health with no major cardiovascular, respiratory diseases, or history of altitude sickness.
  • Special routes (e.g., Sichuan–Tibet line): must tolerate long drives and challenging road conditions; health questionnaires are required.

What documents are required to drive in China?

  • Overseas participants: Passport + international driver’s license (or home country license + official translation). The team will assist in obtaining a temporary Chinese driving permit.
  • Domestic participants: Valid Chinese driver’s license.

What are the driver requirements?

  • At least 2 years of driving experience with a valid license
  • No serious violations, DUI, or hit-and-run history
  • Must follow team driving rules (e.g., rotation, no speeding, no fatigue driving)

How is the itinerary arranged?

  • Core activities: Auto shows, test drives, scenic road trips
  • Additional experiences: Local cultural tours (e.g., Shanghai Bund, West Lake, Tibetan mountains), welcome dinners
  • Pacing: Driving limited to 8 hours per day, with rest and sightseeing stops

How are accommodation and meals arranged?

  • Accommodation: 4–5 star hotels or boutique guesthouses
  • Meals: Daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner with local specialties; welcome and farewell banquets included. Dietary preferences accommodated.

Will language be a barrier?

No. The tour is supported by bilingual guides and staff, with all important information provided in both English and Chinese.

What is included and not included in the fee?

Can participants leave midway?

Yes, with 24 hours’ notice, but incurred costs (accommodation, meals, vehicle) are non-refundable.

Can family or friends join?

Yes. Both solo and group registrations are welcome. Non-driving companions pay the same activity fee and will be included in the full itinerary.
